Classic tunes such as Girls on Film, Wild Boys, Hungry like the Wolf, Rio and Save a Prayer were all accompanied by iconic videos, making the band internationally famous.
After recording the soundtrack for the James Bond film A View to a Kill, the band gradually drifted apart as members concentrated on other projects.
They reformed in 2001 however and after extensive touring to rapturous reviews, 2004's critically-acclaimed album Astronaut sees them back on top form.
